What a paid extra is for
Item-set volume and a clear view of where you lose points.
The official sets run out. Re-doing a case you remember teaches you nothing. A cheap bank earns its price if it gives you more full cases and shows your accuracy by topic. CFAQuiz Level II Basic is €24.95 a month (VAT included); see pricing.
Practise full Level II item sets
Timed cases with worked explanations. Every miss goes into one review list.
A plan that costs almost nothing
1Months 1 to 3: read once
Go through the curriculum at a steady pace. You will forget a lot. The item sets bring it back.
2Months 4 to 5: mostly item sets (start a few during the reading, too)
By topic, timed at 12 minutes. One line on why you missed each one.
3Month 6: full mocks
Two blocks of 132 minutes, then CFA Institute's mocks as the reference.
Where saving becomes expensive
| The saving | What it costs you |
|---|---|
| Free cases of unknown origin | A wrong answer key teaches you a wrong method you will use on exam day. |
| Skipping the early fee deadline | $350, for nothing. |
| Deferring without a real reason | First-timers passed at 52% in August 2026, candidates who had deferred at 30%. Part of that gap is who defers, but it is large. |
